A business card with their scores and highlighting areas the user need to improve their cleaning in general or isolated pocket sites can be personalised for the patient on one side as above, and yourself on the other.

Used correctly may help you market yourself, without being too uncomfortable for those of us not too direct. The card will take seconds to fill out, and save time, in the long run, reinforcing your oral hygiene instructions. It also "connects" the user to you and will help build empathy.

One of my motivations for the App was emailing a youtube video made by http://www.periocourses.co.uk to a 76-year-old who watched it on their iPad two years ago. Her loose tooth supporting a -/p CoCr is now firm again. It is number 4 on the patient's sore card quick links.

Click on the video to demonstrate how to set up and modify templates to send the patient at the time of their visit. You can use it for the App.

These are the instructions I made some time ago for tooth whitening, its the same principle as setting up a template for use of the APP.

Peer review study groups are a great way to learn, and have support for those grey days we all have.
